On this page I kept it schlicht as we say in Germany and simply offer six of my personal favourites from over the years - concerts and performances that remain burned into in my memory for different reasons- most of which nostalgic and involve things I’ve lost- some involving things I am yet to reach.

In the Abbey Noirlac in France I sung with the bees, sounds we had recorded from the hives of the Abbey. It was a hommage to these winged miracles.

Out of nowhere, we came together. We went on stage in Berlin without a rehearsal and this happend. I will never forget this night.

One of our final concerts with the late John Taylor- forever will he remain a burning candle in my life- a spirit who touched many with his humility and grace.

Meeting cellist Susanne Szambelan and daring together to reframe the iconic solo cello sonata of Kodaly was one of the musical highlights of my life.

With two of my closest buddies, the ones who always kept me true to myself- in my heart space in Cologne- the legendary Loft where we recorded some of my favourite standards to an audience of one.

Reaching out to find some musicians in Serbia to get to the core of this place I found these dudes- gosh was I lucky. This one we recorded for the Ottawa Jazz Festival.

My old mate Jochen rueckert doubles as Wolff Parkinson White and programs some mean stuff which you can fully check out here. For this release I wrote some words to go over his melodies and this was one one of the songs that came out. I played the queen, I put her down. Filmed in my old car wash in Belgrade above which I resided for a sweet while.
